Both interviewees comment on family, childhood, education, early Berkeley residents, urban topography. Marguerite Hussey's interview also contains information about her grandfather, Napoleon Byrne, and his family who were early Berkeley settlers. Louis Stein's interview gives information re the social and ethnic composition of Northeast Berkeley.
